I was very lucky to have had the opportunity to see Eminem & Jay-Z at Yankee Stadium on Monday. Jay-Z said he wanted to make the show historical…..well, he sure did! It was by far the best rap concert I’ve ever been to. Eminem opened up for Jay-Z and he absolutely smashed it! There were so many surprise guest appearances throughout the 6 hour concert. Kanye, 50 Cent, G-Unit, Coldplay, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Swizz Beats, J.Cole, B.O.B….the list goes on. As you can imagine, there were loads of celebrities that had come to watch the show too. Lebron James was brave to have walked through the middle of the stadium to get to his seat. New York Knicks fans were booing him like crazy!

But my favorite part has go to be when Eminem brought out Dr.Dre! What a legend!

Listen to what Eminem says at the end of the video.

My good friends Kunal Merchant and Seif Al-Din from NYC, (my second home), have put together this wicked remix project of Jay-Z’s 2007 album, American Gangster. They go under the production name of Music Without Borders and they’re an incredibly talented duo that you need to keep and eye on!

The album is called Hindustani Gangster and here is a little blurb about the project:

Inspired by Indian cinema of the 70′s and Jay-Z’s critically acclaimed concept album, “American Gangster,” “Hindustani Gangster” tells the passionate tale of a Mumbai hustler’s sordid lifestyle.

Through the culmination of Jay’s great story, and sounds that range from Bollywood to Bhangra – via heavy emotive melodies and basslines – Music Without Borders has crafted a piece that is intended for the true music connoisseur.

Download the full album on 17th October from http://www.hindustanigangster.com and you can preview tracks on the site now.

Meanwhile, here’s the artwork.
